This giveaway (“Giveaway”) is sponsored by HarperCollins Publishers Limited (“HarperCollins Canada”), Bay Adelaide Centre, East Tower, 22 Adelaide St. W, 41st Floor, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, M5H 4E3.

PARTICIPATION

Pre-order BOLEYN TRAITOR authored by Philippa Gregory and published by HarperCollins Canada, ISBN: 9780063439689, 9780063439665, 9780063439658  (the “Book”) from wherever books are sold, and then submit the required information, including proof of pre-order of the Book (the “Proof”). Upon valid submission, you will be sent by e-mail: one (1) download of Philippa Gregory reading a letter and one (1) exclusive extract to the chapter in the book about the letter (the “Incentive”). The Incentive has no retail value.

To qualify for the Giveaway, the Proof must be submitted above and received by HarperCollins Canada no later than October 13, 2025 at 11:59 PM EST. For an online order, the Proof is a copy of your email confirmation of your pre-order of the Book that shows the order number, retail outlet, date of order, and the title, author, and ISBN of the Book. For an in-store order, the Proof is a copy of your original store receipt that shows the order number, retail outlet, date of order, and the title, author, and ISBN of the Book. The Proof must be uploaded in jpg, jpeg, pdf or png format.

One (1) Incentive will be emailed to each qualified participant at the email address submitted upon reciept. Please contact neil.wadhwa@harpercollins.com if you do not receive your Incentive by January 31st, 2026.

Giveaway only available to legal residents of Canada, excluding Quebec who have reached the age of majority in their state/territory of residence or older at the time of participation. Giveaway applies only to pre-orders of the Book made between September 9, 2025 at 12:00 AM EST and October 13, 2025 at 11:59 PM EST.

CONDITIONS, RELEASE AND INDEMNITIES

Giveaway void if obtained through non-authorized channels, including, without limitation, free offer or freebie directories. HarperCollins Canada reserves the right to request additional documentation or information to validate pre-order. If pre-order cannot be verified, offer will be void or subject to revocation. Theft, diversion, reproduction, transfer, sale or purchase of Proofs or receipts is prohibited and may constitute fraud and could result in prosecution. The Incentive may not be reproduced, traded or sold. Not responsible for lost or damaged receipts. Void outside of Canada and wherever prohibited, taxed or restricted by law.

Releasees shall mean HarperCollins Canada and its parent company, affiliates and/or subsidiaries, agents and Giveaway agencies and each of their respective employees, directors, officers, suppliers, agents and administrators and author, if any.

Participants acknowledge and agree that the Releasees:

1. Are not responsible for printing, clerical or typographical errors of any kind or nature relating to the Giveaway
2. Shall not be liable for damages, injuries or losses of any kind resulting in whole or in part from participation in the Giveaway
3. Assume no liability for lost, late, incomplete, inaccurate, undeliverable or misdirected submissions, notifications and/or responses, or for any computer, online, software, hardware or technical malfunctions that may occur, including but not limited to malfunctions that may affect the transmission or non-transmission of a submission
4. Are not responsible for damage to any Entrant’s computer system/software related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in connection with the Giveaway.
5. Assume no responsibility or liability in the event that the Giveaway cannot be conducted as planned for any reason whatsoever, including but not limited to reasons beyond the control of HarperCollins Canada, such as infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes outside the control of the Releasees which impair or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Giveaway.
6. Assume no responsibility for undeliverable e-mails resulting from any form of active or passive e-mail filtering by a participant’s Internet service provider and/or e-mail client or for insufficient space in participant’s e-mail account to receive e-mails.

Participants further acknowledge and agree that by participating in the Giveaway they:

1. Release the Releasees from and against any and all claims, actions, liabilities, judgments, damages, penalties, and expenses of any kind (including legal fees) in any way arising from or in relation to participation in the Giveaway or
2. Will indemnify and hold harmless the Releasees from and against any and all claims, actions, liabilities, judgments, damages, penalties, and expenses of any kind (including legal fees) in any way arising from or in relation to participation in the Giveaway

CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE GIVEAWAY MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND/OR CIVIL LAWS. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, HARPERCOLLINS CANADA RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK REMEDIES AND DAMAGES TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

PRIVACY AND USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

By participating in the Giveaway, you consent to HarperCollins Canada’s collection and use of your name and email address for the purpose of administering the Giveaway. HarperCollins Canada will use your personal information only for identified purposes and protect such information in a manner that is consistent with HarperCollins Canada’s privacy policy located online at: https://www.harpercollins.ca/privacy-notice/

TERMINATION

HarperCollins Canada reserves the right to terminate or suspend the Giveaway, in whole or in part, without prior notice.

APPLICABLE LAW AND FORUM

You agree that all matters arising out of or relating to the Giveaway and these Terms will be interpreted and construed in accordance with the laws of Ontario, without regard to conflict of laws, and all claims arising out of or relating to the Giveaway and these Terms will be brought solely in the court located in Ontario.
