During a stint as a stay-at-home-mother, she decided it was time to “write that book.” She could set her own hours and would never have to wear pantyhose to work! Liz Tyner grew up on a farm in Oklahoma fascinated by stories and storytelling. By the time she was in high school, Liz often read a book each day, collected romance novels and decided she would write a manuscript someday. She and her husband live on an acreage where she enjoys spending her evening gazing at stars, sitting around a campfire, or at a concert where it’s prudent to wear hearing protection.

Amanda McCabe wrote her first romance at sixteen – an historical epic starring her friends as the characters, written secretly during algebra class! She’s never since used algebra, but her books have been nominated for many awards, including the RITA Award, Booksellers Best, National Readers Choice Award and the Holt Medallion.
