Lisa Nandy Books & Biography
Lisa Nandy is the MP for Wigan and shadow Foreign Secretary. Born in Manchester, she studied Politics at Newcastle University and for an MA in public policy from Birkbeck College.
As well as several prominent shadow cabinet roles, her decade in parliament has included her co-founding the Centre for Towns think tank and her 2019 campaign to lead the Labour Party. She previously worked as a housing caseworker for Walthamstow MP Neil Gerrard, at the charity Centrepoint and later ran the refugee and asylum programme at The Children’s Society.
