His pieces have appeared in <i>The Independent</i>, <i>The Guardian</i>, <i>The Times</i>, <i>London Review of Books</i>, <i>Esquire</i> and his local parish magazine, among many other publications. His first book, <i>Hollow Places</i>, was published in 2019.
