Julien Macdonald Books & Biography
Julien MacDonald OBE (born 19th March 1971) is a Welsh fashion designer. At 22 he was dubbed The King of the Cobweb when Karl Lagerfield appointed him the youngest ever design head at Chanel. In 2001 he was named 'British Fashion Designer of the Year' and appointed chief designer at Givenchy, succeeding Alexander McQueen. In 2013 he appeared in Strictly Come Dancing. Julien is heavily involved in the Macmillan Cancer Charity, for the last two years designing the Tickled Pink bag.
