Kathy-jo Wargin is the best-selling and award-winning author of such books as The Legend of Sleeping Bear, illustrated by Gijsbert van Frankenhuyzen, and Win One for the Gipper, illustrated by Bruce Langton. She lives in beautiful northern Michigan with her family and two dogs, Lilly and Salmon.
