The British Horse Society, founded in 1947, is the UK’s largest and most influential equestrian charity and is internationally acclaimed for its education and training programmes. It is committed to improving the welfare of horses and ponies, as well as promoting the interests of horse riders and owners. The BHS has over 58,000 members throughout the UK, plus a further 40,000 members of affiliated Riding Clubs.
