Michael Emberley has been writing and illustrating children's books for almost twenty-five years. He illustrated Happy Birth Day! by Robie H. Harris as well as You Read to Me, I'll Read to You: Very Short Stories to Read Together by Mary Ann Hoberman. Michael lives in San Diego, California.
