As with every one of these great Roald Dahl musicals, Snow White is based on an orchestral commission by the Roald Dahl Foundation. The concert work, from which the schools' musical is derived is by Eleanor Alberga, and schools can use the extracts provided from the orchestral work to enhance their performances.

Biography

Quentin Blake is one of the best-loved storytellers in the world. His books include dozens of modern classics and he has collaborated with an incredible range of authors, perhaps most famously Roald Dahl. Quentin was appointed the first UK Children’s Laureate in 1999, was created CBE in 2005, and received a knighthood for ‘services to illustration’ in the New Year’s Honours for 2013.
