Handselling Award

HarperCollinsCanada Hand-Selling Award

Whether fiction or non-fiction, biography or self-help, a first-time novelist or seasoned classic, expose readers to talent on the page. This annual award recognizes outstanding achievements in the hand-selling of HarperCollins titles with three prizes of $500 cash for the season’s top handsellers.

The award is open to booksellers at independent stores before the submissions deadline. Staff no longer need a nomination from their managers and can feel free to email sales representatives directly.

To nominate a staff member, send an email to your sales representative noting the bookseller's name, the title they have championed and how they have done so, the number of copies they have sold, and the name and location of your bookstore.

Please note: 2012 winners are not eligible for the prize in 2013, nor is the store they represented.

The winner will be selected and awarded their cash prize within 30 days of the entry deadline.

The submission deadline for the 2013 Hand-Selling Awards is November 7th, 2013.
