Alan Maimon

Biography

Alan Maimon is the author of Shane Victorino: The Flyin’ Hawaiian and co-author of Nine Innings to Success: A Hall of Famer’s Approach to Achieving Excellence (with Jim Palmer), The Mouth That Roared: My Six Outspoken Decades in Baseball (with Dallas Green), and If You Love This Game: An MVP’s Life in Baseball (with Andre Dawson). As a newspaper reporter, he was a finalist for the 2004 Pulitzer Prize in Public Service. He started his professional writing career as a news assistant and sportswriter in the Berlin bureau of the New York Times. A Philadelphia native and a graduate of Brown University, he is currently an investigator for Centurion Ministries, an organization based in Princeton, New Jersey, that works to vindicate and free wrongfully convicted prisoners.
