This book was very much a twist of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. It was very interesting and I couldn’t wait to see what would happen in the end. Being in each of the character’s minds was very insightful and I could fully see how each of them was feeling. I also enjoyed the layout. Ed truly learns and sees his true feelings for Scout and he really does grow as a person.

This is one of my new favorite books. I laughed all the way through and couldn’t put it down once I picked it up. The story of people discovering themselves and figuring out life is realistic and can be compared to your own life. I HIGHLY recommend reading The Loser’s Guide to Life and Love!

This book is full of laughs and sighs. Not in a long while has a book been able to make me laugh at one point and feel that pang through my heart in another. This book rings true addressing the topic of love during those tough teen years. My disbelief in love at first sight was readdressed. This is a great read! Very entertaining with a good message! I absolutely loved this book! I waited a week after I finished reading it to write my review because I hoped I would be able to find more words to accurately describe why I loved the book, but really I just loved all of it. The characters were great. They were described so excellently I felt that I could actually see them. I loved Scout. Her shame at reading the Regency romances was priceless! I also really enjoyed when Ed would break off into his scripts. They were the perfect blend of sarcasm and humor. This book may have just stolen first place in my heart as the best A Midsummer Night’s Dream interpretation for teens!
