Dave McKean has created illustrations and photographs for hundreds of CD, book, and comic covers, as well as publishing projects with John Cale, Heston Blumenthal, Stephen King, and the Rolling Stones. He is best known for his graphic novels, including the bestselling Arkham Asylum, and his covers for Neil Gaiman's Sandman series. He has also illustrated the children's books Coraline, The Graveyard Book, Varjak Paw, The Wolves in the Walls, and The Day I Swapped My Dad for Two Goldfish.
